Launch of Manufacturing Excellence Community Networking Event

This year, MAXA is launching the Manufacturing Excellence Community (MEC) Networking Event to provide a platform for manufacturing companies to:

Share and cross learn best manufacturing practices
Develop strong networks within the manufacturing community
Stay engaged with MAXA as a continuous journey

Moving forward, the annual MAXA cycle will consist of the MAXA Award and MEC Networking Event.

For 2009, the MEC Networking Event will be held on the 30th of October. You are invited to participate in one or all the following programs:

We would like to invite all Singapore-based companies to participate in both of the activities through online sign-up.

1. Plant Tour and Sharing of Manufacturing Excellence by Past MAXA Winners

Four concurrent sharing sessions will be hosted by past winners to share best practices in manufacturing excellence. This will consist of a plant tour and a discussion facilitated by MAXA. The following participants have kindly opened up their facilities for the plant tour:

2. Lunchtime Panel on Green Manufacturing

A lunchtime panel discussion will be held where speakers from both the public and private sectors have been invited to share government initiatives and company practices in Green Manufacturing.

Points to note:

Transportation will not be provided for participants
Participation in the MEC event is free of charge
Sign-up is based on first-come-first-serve basis
The sign-up deadline is 16 October

Upon your registration, we will email you by 23rd October to confirm your participation, allocated company plant tour (if applicable), assembly location, event schedule, and other details. Kindly contact EDB at fionlim@edb.gov.sg, if you do not receive a confirmation email by 23rd October.
